The School of Management of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) was established in 1993, and developed from the former Department of Management Engineering established in 1982. The School of Management receives Ph.D. students in four areas i.e. Management Science and Engineering, Emerging Technology Management, Information Management & E-commerce and Enterprise Management, receives master students in eight areas i.e. Management Science and Engineering, Econometrics, Enterprise Management, Regional Economics, Emerging Technology Management, Information Management and E-commerce, Technological Economy Management and Finance, and the authority of conferring 3 professional master degrees i.e. Executive Master of Business Administration(EMBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and International Master of Business Administration (IMBA). The discipline of Management Science& Engineering and Enterprise Management are provincial key disciplines of Sichuan Province.
The School of Management receives graduates in the areas of Business Administration, Finance, International Economics & Trade, Financial Management, Marketing and E-commerce including the second bachelor’s degree majoring in the fields of Business Administration and International Economics & Trade.
The School of Management has several departments including Department of Business Administration, Department of Economics &Finance, Department of Accounting, Department of E-commerce as well as Research Center of Management Science &Engineering of UESTC, Research Center of Enterprise, Institute of Regional Economy, etc. The school also has modern multimedia room, case study room and finance securities laboratory reflecting security market's changes as well as discipline construction base of management science & engineering and E-commerce Lab which is the provincial key lab of Sichuan Province. The newly Books and Data Center with bright and excellent environment has a collection of over 24,000 copies and about 300 kinds of periodicals.
